Year-end charity programmes of Ba Vang Pagoda
In the early of 2020 (on the last days of the year of the Pig), Thay Thich Truc Thai Minh - the Abbot of Ba Vang Pagoda along with His Sangha held a year-end charity programme to visit and give gifts to many humanitarian centres and organisations in Vietnam in the hope of helping the poor and people in difficulties have a better life.
Thay and the Sangha did charity to organisations such as Child Care Facilities, Quang Ninh Mental Health Protection Hospital, Quang Ninh General Hospital; Tuberculosis and Lungs Hospital, etc. The entire budget stems from the Golden Heart Charity Foundation of Ba Vang Pagoda.

The elderly receive gifts from ThayAt each of the year-end charity programmes, the unfortunate people are not only presented with material gifts but they also had the chance to listen to Dharma talks on law of cause and effect and lessons by Thay Thich Truc Thai Minh. Although the gifts may not be of great material value, they show what Thay and the Sangha of Ba Vang Pagoda wish is to spread loving-kindness and the spirit of giving and sharing to everyone. Hopefully, people who received help from the Sangha will have the chance to approach true Dharma, practise Buddhism, do good deeds, and bring benefits to the society
