Vesak Celebration 2022 at Ba Vang Pagoda – A celebration of wisdom, unity, and happiness.

In the morning of 8th May 2022, the grand Vesak celebration took place at Ba Vang Pagoda.

As a display of Dharma friendship, Venerable monks from Vietnamese and international monasteries came to celebrate the event with the Sangha of the Pagoda, including:

  • President of the Dhammakaya Foundation, Head of the International Buddhist Department (Thailand) — Venerable Pravidesdhammabhorn.
  • General Secretary for Head of the Sri Lanka Buddhist Federation — Most Venerable Mugunuwela Anuruddha Thero. 
  • Vice President of the Bangladesh Department of Buddhism of Forest Monk — Venerable Shoura Jagat Mahathero.
  • Head of Buddhist Committee of Ponhea Lueu district, Abbot of Ongbarai pagoda, Kandal province, Cambodia — Venerable PhraTanavimuttiyan Pin Mongkolwutthi. 
  • Deputy Head of the Buddhist Department, Luang Prabang province, Laos — Most Venerable Luang Por Chantarin Jinadhammo.

Moreover, the campus welcomed more than 40,000 people coming to rejoice and pay their homage to the Great Father. Many spectacular commemoration activities were held to honor the noble life of the Buddha and his teachings. Through this event, may the Dharma be long-lived, the Buddha’s disciples be harmonious and united, and the world be peaceful and happy.
