As a part of their annual trip to Vietnam, 15 Bhikshus from Burma (Myanmar) visited Ba Vang Pagoda with great delight.
On behalf of the Sangha of Ba Vang Pagoda, Venerable Thich Truc Bao Luc gave the Burmese delegation a warm welcome and introduced them to the history of the Pagoda as well as Thay Thich Truc Thai Minh—the Abbot of Ba Vang Pagoda.
Afterward, the Burmese Bhikshus visited the famous Main Hall of Ba Vang Pagoda. In this solemn place, they paid homage to Buddhas, chanted sutras, and had a meditation session.
At the end, Venerable Thich Truc Bao Luc and the Burmese Monks exchanged some souvenirs to commemorate this visit.
One of the Bhikshus expressed his belief that this visit would foster the friendship between the Buddhist communities of the two countries.
