The image of calm and virtuous monks going on alms round every morning which appears in Nikàya Sutra still exists at Ba Vang Pagoda until today. Monks of Ba Vang Pagoda are going on alms round in bare feet around the campus of the pagoda. This is to create opportunities for Buddhists to obtain great blessings. On seeing this, many people were so moved and had a deep appreciation for the nobility of the Sangha.

May 11, 2019 Quang Ninh, Vietnam - Besides a wide range of meaningful activities during the Buddha's birthday celebration, on the seventh day of the fourth month, Year of the Pig, Buddhists prepared food to offer to Monks and Nuns of Ba Vang Pagoda on the alms round. Giving alms has been a beautiful tradition as well as an important practice of every Buddhist. It is a precious practice not only during the celebration but also in daily practice. Whoever respectfully makes offerings to virtuous ones will attain lots of blessings.
