2-Day Meditation Experience Programme

Meditation is a beneficial method for people to achieve peace and happiness. Through this two-day experience programme for English speakers at Ba Vang Pagoda, you will have the chance to approach the method of meditation by the Buddha.

The history of Meditation

Meditation appeared before the Buddha’s time and attracted so many practitioners. However, those methods of meditation could not lead to a true stable mind. Afterwards, Prince Siddhartha Gautama meditated under the Bodhi tree for 49 days, He was fully enlightened to become Shakyamuni Buddha. Then He showed humanity methods of meditation to achieve true stable mind which brought wisdom. Monks are the Buddha’s disciples who practise His methods of meditation and instruct everyone to practise the Buddha’s methods of meditation.
